Capacity BuildingCapacity building is largely a Program Sustainability strategy for URHB. Capacity building and training opportunities for our staff members, volunteers and community / School groups remain a common blend of our interventions. Our partners are encouraged to support organization development activities that target our staff members. These are always premised on rigorous organizational capacity Assessment.

URHB is also involved in several partnerships with government, CSOs, CBOs and other stakeholders that are instrumental in our work. Partnerships and networks developed have helped us to reduce the cost of implementing some of our programs.
For example, when URHB works with the local government health workers during the outreach activities, costs are significantly reduced. This helps us to transfer skills to residents and also maintain key staff at our static centres.
